Learning about the Market/points system

My dear friends at Kabam,

After having not played the game in years, I came back about a month ago and have been thoroughly enjoying my return. That being said, I just dropped ~$650 USD on the pool shield event (great job with this one, btw) only to discover from a lagacy video that you get MORE units, pool shields, and other benefits from buying the packs on the webstore.

It’s a short ask, but I have a little bit of buyers remorse knowing I’m missing out on huge value—is there any way I can be credited in the webstore for my in-app purchases?

Finding out that my 4-Odin and 2 panther vault in-app purchases could have already awarded me a 7* Deadpool and a 7* red guardian without the in-app milestones is just crazy! Why is there nothing in the app that suggests going to the webstore?

No, you cannot have webstore credits added for in-game purchases.
The added benefits are meant to incentivize players to make their purchases in the webstore. Kabam makes more money through the webstore because Xsolla doesn't take quite as sizeable a cut as Apple and Google. It wouldn't make sense for them to give you an added benefit without receiving their added benefit. It sucks this time around, but at least now you know for next time.

As for your question about why they don't promote the webstore in game, I imagine that's because of Apple and Google. It'd be like Walmart putting up sales signs in Target to promote their better deals.
