Sentry or Sentinel from deadpool store (non-BG)

I’ve heard good things about Sentinel, but it usually is more in the context of being a tough defender (which seems like it requires a dupe?). But some people do like his damage output.

Some people like Sentry for longform. I do like the idea of a Science champion with buffs and nullify immunity. However, i don’t currently have any everest content left that calls for a Sentry.

Sentinel needs the dupe for offense too.
I would imagine there'd be other choices in the selector that might be good for you?

Sentry’s whole point of existence is to clear 10 year carina challenge and that one path of Epoch. And he isn’t even the best option for 10 year. Sentinel is a meta tech defender

True, but using Sentry to clear the 10 year challenge was the most enjoyable time I've spent on this game.
Would I pick him from this selector even if I hadn't done Necro yet?
No, because you can use a 6* Sentry for that.
