I’m sorry if this has been brought up before, but if you were in my shoes, would you take the 9.2 Exploration Deal? Feedback much appreciated!
- I’m a casual, daily, f2p, stingy player with 17k units that doesn’t spend hours on hours grinding
- Not competitive in alliance modes, mainly do quests & occasional BGs, chipping away at endgame content little by little, and mainly just play for fun
- Valiant with still just 2 rank 3s (Hulk & Chavez)
- Takes me forever to get units and rarely have a chance to buy the highest tier items in game
- Passed on both holiday deals last year & banquet because I never have enough units to get all the consecutive deal levels (and probably still won’t have much more than 20k units by July 4th)
- Still need 2 more t7b for an r4 (or until exploring 9.2)
- Have 1 titan and 1 titan nexus saved for the next round (would have a 2nd nexus with the deal too)
- Have the roster below:

In hindsight, I should’ve done some more research about all this and just waited until after the Heart of Fire started to complete 9.2.
Do you really think one r4 is gonna help you that much? It's not.
Focus on developing your roster.
FWIW, for the modes I play, I haven’t really had any huge issue completing things with my current roster. I have the resources to take 3-4 more champs to R3 soon, but I’m being picky, and just thought it would be fun to take a favorite champ to r4 - basically just because I can.
This poll confirms I’m alone on that thought 😂 Since I saved this long already, I might just wait for July 4th.
15K units for the offer is a lot but it's not locked behind a paywall and the R4 gem basically contains: 3 T7Bs and 4 T4As and all the necessary T6Bs and T3As.
And you get a Titan nexus too.
But it just depends on whether you want that R4 gem now; I don't think 15K units will get you an R4 gem and a Titan nexus on July 4, but it should go a long way during the CW sale.
But that's half a year away....
Also don't forget the new radiance store which is based on how you do in PvP content.
So an extra R4 now can theoretically pay for itself in radiance rewards...
Not to mention what Kabam said on the last livestream about new valiant rewards being linked to people's top champ ratings.
Which again just provides value for R4s and punishes sitting on the sidelines waiting.
15k units is way too steep, imo. Especially since in a month or 2(July 4) we'll probably see possibly 2 R4s for that price tag. Just seems like poor unit & resource management in a unit/resource management game
I don't think we will, but I'lm already grinding arena to replenish my units just in case I'm wrong.
At the end of the day, there is no shortage of champs to R4, so the more R4 deals the merrier.
