Yup, rewards are for everyone who pre-registers but your account is cross platform so the rewards go to your account wherever you're playing. Rewards will be at launch because it depends on how many pre-registers we get! (as others have said let your friends know so we can send out better rewards!)

Question: When we say PC, can it also be played on a Mac? And are we allowed to use a virtual PC platform like Parallels Desktop or VMware Fusion?

this will be released on steam so steam compatible, on my knowledge, Mac does have steam, but parallel desktops do work, though may be illegal as they may be identified as emulators

The general rule has always been that platforms explicitly supported by the App stores the game is sold on are themselves supported in general. This meant anything that *natively* runs the Google Play store, and all Apple products with access to the Apple App Store.

The PC version is almost certainly going to have different supported rules because the PC world is just plain different from the mobile world. However, the PC/Steam version is also going to have built-in anti-cheat, so that is likely to govern on what platforms the Steam version is legal to play on.

(Note: the primary security in the Steam version is Easy Anti-cheat, which was in the beta build and is also publicly identified in the Steam info for the game).

so your telling me that it may be playable through MacBook via its app store and no parallel desktop required, cause I am confused reading this

If Kabam offered it directly through the Mac app store, then presumably Kabam also supports Mac platforms. However, I do not believe it currently does so.

Is the game free? And can it be controlled by keyboard (supports key mapping) or need a joypad or external controller to play?

Nice. Do you know what are minimum specs needed to play?

I think we're getting caught up in Mac vs PC and not in MacOS vs Windows where the conversation belongs. MCoC is launching on Steam, but like much of the library is almost certainly going to be available only on Windows. If your Mac runs Windows, whether fully or through a partition, you shouldn't have any issues downloading it, and since your download would be directly from Steam there shouldn't be an issue.
We won't know all of this for sure for a little while longer, but there's no reason why it wouldn't work so long as you're running a legitimate version of Windows that meets the requirements.

The official system requirements currently listed for MCOC on Steam are Windows 10 64-bit or higher.
