Seems very bugged but hasnt every season of bg been almost the same bug of not resetting properly

Taking a second look at the vibranium start it could actually be legit, though. If you look at the 5 match completion reward pop up you actually get all the stuff up to vib 2. I feel like if the starting rank was bugged, we would not be getting all that. It also would make the radiance objective much easier to achieve, which is a great thing. So this might actually be intentional? I’d love to hear something official, though.

It definitely seems weird. I would have expected this being mentioned beforehand.

Yeah I believe it is legit, they've put more divisions into the tiers and reasonably I think this is a way of improving BG's for those at the top (by cutting out the early grind to GC) and for those at the bottom (weaker accounts, less roster mismatches). I could be wrong about it's legitimacy but it's a great change nonetheless.
