I know you probably think I'm crazy...

But do you actually want a 7* Hercules in the game? I encourage you to think about it a bit, think about the last 15 or so months since Kabam started building content around him, and if I do say so myself, I thought that between the seasonal pains, epoch, ordeal, and carina challenges the content has been awesome. So, Do you want a 7 star hercules in the game?

hulkling and cgr would be more harmful than herc to the game lol, he is not relevant in long form, barely relevant in bgs if released as a 7*, only good in AQ, incursions and war sometimes. Alot of nodes shut down his immortality, every boss does it aswell lol.

Hulkling and CGR are good in almost every gamemode maybe except necropolis only.

I'm not sure what's the hype with Hercules, there several champions better than him at 7*, even at 6* I rather use hulking than him.

Herc ruins low tier AW imo. Not only does he just let you brute force almost all defenders, he can take most nodes too. So ppl in low tier wars will always just carry herc and brute force everything with him, even to their own detriment. They won't learn about proper planning or counters. They just herc it and spam revives. I've seen my defenders get double digit kills just because the opponent chose to herc it instead of bringing in a potential counter.

Sure it's convenient for them, but it's a lot better for the game if players actually learn rpg elements too, atleast that's my take on it. A 7* version of herc, in his current state, would incentivize this even more.

I actually think the game is more suitable for a 7* Hercules now than it was when 7*s were first introduced. The reason is that Kabam has released several champions with various variations of cheat death mechanics, to the point that they are now peppering in nodes to counteract those champions in endgame content. It feels like we're seeing more and more of the "Can't use any indestructible, death immunity, this or that mechanic" nodes as new content comes out. Due to this, I think a 7* Herc would be sort of naturally stopped by those nodes as well.

Do I think they'll release him as a 7*? No. Do I think they should release him as a 7*? No, not necessarily. But do I think there are more natural obstacles for him nowadays so that he wouldn't be quite as dominant as he was when he was first released? Yes.

All that said, I imagine that he's still a very tricky champion to design content around. He has a rare ability to brute force himself through a lot of situations in a way that no other champion (except maybe a ramped-up Aegon) has.

It is a shame that he's so OP, though, because I really do like to use him in content. Even when you're not cheesing your way through stuff. I remember taking him with me on a side quest a few months ago and going, "Oh, now I remember how much fun he is as a questing champion!"

He gets about 20 times as much benefit from a level 1 revive at any other champion in the game

Kabam have purposefully shut him off in multiple game modes. (Epoch, Orichi etc) It’s clear they have thoughts on Hercules and if they can 5* lock Magik and Quake they sure as hell will do it with Herc.

Herc would be balanced if they just changed his immortality to 12 seconds depending on sig level.
No way of pausing it or pro longing it in any way
He'd just be like serpent or every other immortality champ in the game.
