HoF Groot: Were YOU happy when you saw him?

When I first saw his beautiful face on the same slide as “Heart of Fire,” I knew Kabam was trolling from the start. But in all seriousness, I would have r3d that boy just for kicks and giggles.
So getting to my question, what was YOUR reaction? I know a vast majority of players were livid, but was there a small portion of summoners that were happy to see groot as the HoF final champ?

I was genuinely excited because i thought he was getting a buff and my excitement plummeted when they switched to dark pheonix

I knew it was a joke but it was a cool gag. That said, I think putting a 7* groot as a milestone along the event rewards would be fun. Perhaps at the point where any non spending FtP players would get to. That way anyone participating at Valiant gets a rare trophy 7*. It's not Dark Phoenix, but it's something fun and unique.

Groot buff > Dark Phoenix, I would've been so excited if it was a surprise buff instead of this, two Phoenix the same month just feels so stale and boring.

Honestly groot doesn't need much to become good. More potent furies and cruelties, precision instead of physical resistance, and guaranteed ways to activate his tree mode instead of rng. Few more immunities and his debuff reduction to scale with his buffs, and some more utility Like true accuracy and Armor breaks ,and he is perfect imo
