Now that 7 star Apoc will be available…

would it be possible to add a tiny detail to his kit that lets him start BG attack with +2 code? It would make him so much more viable and desirable. Lots of champs have a similar thing in their kit.

If they were going to, it would’ve already either been announced back in the April livestream, or would’ve been in the patch notes. Considering both aren’t here, tough luck. Some champs just aren’t good for bgs and that’s okay

I agree, it's such a small tweak and just makes Apoc someone formidable in BGs finally. Without it, he's one of the least wanted change in the HoF crystal.

For me he's the one I want most from that pool but then again I'm not BGs focused

They should have done this for sure. I’m wondering how powerful his block penetration will be as a 7* with the stat focus though

This is one of those changes that should be unanimously agreed on. He loses all attack value in BG's without those codes.

I totally agree. Without this addition, Apoc is just a bit outdated. Kabam has no problem adding stipulations to other champion’s kits to make them viable in different game modes, why not add it to apoc’s?

Idk about yall but apocalypse is a quest champion. Not every champ needs to be a bgs champ. Not like you have more than 30 in a deck anyways. His tankiness in quests is enough to make me want him as a 7*. Even as a 6*r5a it's rare that he ever loses much health in a quest.

I totally understand that, and I wouldn’t be asking for this if there weren’t a few “ramp up” champs now, who specifically have faster ramp up for BG attack purposes.

How is it a scam? At max ramp he would be probably too strong as an attacker and on defense his primary value is stalling and block damage which aren't affected by his charges.

    Don't forget his synergies.
Love his synergy with Cable and Kang.
With Kang, just slow play to build up max furies.
With Cable, just parry / stun / heavy.

You forgot his most important synergy- Mr. Sinister

KT1 said this in his video the other day. Apoc is, in his opinion as well as mine, the worst champ in the pool without that change.

Just take him in against a Mutant if you want to start with 2 codes.

Not every champion needs to be tweaked to be BG friendly; Persistent charge champions are typically not designed for BGs type fights.

Glorious Guardians had a similar selection of champions and no one felt the need to request that Sentry start with 3+ reality warps as a BGs attacker.

All true, but if they did update that one part so he can be more usable in BG's, it's not going to affect him negatively. He can still be used for questing. I understand where they're coming from as I'd like to see my favorite champ, who was designed for quests, also get a BG update.

But yeah, I like that Apoc is finally being added as a 7* so I can use his synergy for 7* champ gated quests.

Of course it wouldn't affect him negatively, it would drastically increase his effectiveness to a potentially busted level.

As sad as this sounds, its universally agreed upon because Ibom got the inequity change in his kit, but Apoc hasn't.

I think they snuck Apoc in instead of someone like AA because they know some people would have personal interests in Apoc.

Before any one tries saying "BGs isnt the only game mode" look at the radiance store for a minute and see how dividing the reward brackets are. They are shifting the game to a more PVP focus.

Saying someone is “a questing champ” is a polite way of saying they have very little value in today’s game.

Yeah, we get one new chapter every 6 months. Event and side quests can be done with any high ranked champ. He would sit at the bottom of my 7* until the next chapter, and even when the next chapter comes around, I imagine my onslaught and sinister would be able to handle any mutant fights just fine.
