Gladiator and Venom possible bugs…

Against Peni and Red Skull, both Venom and Gladiator take damage from the power drain when hitting into RS’s block and getting auto blocked by Peni.

Anyone else noticed this?

    If red skull has armor its not power drain damage its direct damage and peni its the power burn also

    Red skulls power drain and damage are separate effects. Even if you're immune to the power drain you still take damage

    Ok apologies fair play on the red skull, thanks for the info, but Venom and Gladiator are both power burn immune (Venom specifically power burn immune from tech champs). I used to counter Peni with him all the time, but can’t anymore.

    If anyone has an explanation…?

    U can still take the damage its what u have to play around to not let it happen

    Like for red skull if he has no armors ur good to hit block so removing all his armors with armor break or pulverise that direct damage cant happen, with peni as long as she doesnt have her shield up or has spider charges she cant auto block which then u wont take her damage

    I just tried a fight with Peni using Venom. He didn't take power burn damage

    Welp, just practiced and it’s back to working again but if I match up in war with a peni I’ll film that there.

    Nah, it's okay to post. What might have happened is some other node that you forgot to account for. Peni also paces a heal block that does damage if you had suicides.

    there may be an additional wrinkle in the AW nodes. as said, Red Skull is Drain, and then just have some Damage. Drain, Burn, Steal, and Lock are all separate issues.

    when in doubt, Vox is always immune to almost all power shenanigans, so he’s great to test with.

    Also Venom’s immunity is only active if he has his Klyntar buff (black buff with the white spider symbol); it’s usually always up but if it got nullified by a node somehow he would take power burn.

    Yeah, Peni places the heal block and incinerates when you try to heal.
