This EQ has me feeling bad for Bucky

Kabam ain’t shy with meta nods in EQ stories, and mostly they’re fun, they work, but THIS one in particular had me feeling like I done this man dirty:

how many times has mr Barnes been a data mine for champ testing, how many times has RoL WS dropped so I could expand my roster after running a new toon on a test drive?

they do the meta stuff in content Story often enough that it’s noticable but not critical to realize, but not so often it gets tired. unless Wade or GP are involved, that’s practically their entire character arcs. they have done good so far, IMO.

and @713_o_f1673r I’m -retty sure Kabam is contractually obliged to make it obvious it ties in with the current big show/ movie. nods to the core IP, especially film and television, are a given.we are by and large a big’ol pile of nerds, though, so it’s not like we were gonna miss it, but still. o)

Ive always said Kabam should create a quest called "bucky's revenge" and make it stupidly and brutally hard.

Then tie it to something like the crypt but rewards only pay out if we win more fights than he does.

A "Bucky's revenge" quest/event would be an absolute banger. honestly ROL 2.0 as the exact thing that it is now, (sp3 disabled and all) but with necropolis healthpools and the new champion kits/animations. No quest rewards necessary, just punching bags fit for 7r4's
