Champs that avoid buffs

Hi friends, I just want a champion with buff immune to deal with several nodes, I have only three champ on that cartography, Kinda confusing which one is better overall.

To my knowledge, Quicksilver is not buff immune, he just doesn't get the dexterity buff. If its a Placebo stlye node he won't be the guy

Absolutely. He's a beast when he can stun, but is still great against stun immune champs and nodes.

His sp2 and sp3 rotations are absolutely devastating

If you need a Buff Immune Champ Red Guardian or Titania are the go to options. Quicksilver, Silk and a couple others have mechanics where they don’t trigger dex, Spot can gain buff immunity from his L1. Spidey 2099 and Cassie Lang are also buff immune, but generally not as good as RG or Titania. Spider Punk also has some form of buff immunity but I’m not sure what it is/how it works so don’t quote me on that.

Realistically you only need 1 “go to” buff immune champ so I would say RG is your best bet for a nice long term rank up

I just need some counter for buff punishing mystic champions like dormammu, and the node that regenerates/power gaines when we gain buffs are kinda annoying. So just an overall counter and a good champion among buff immune, not only that whenever I asked this to some players they started argue about how they(Spiderman 2099) are all underrated 😤😔

Titania and Casey Lang are also good for this. Spot also has a prefight that will make a champ buff immune.

As the proud owner of a sig 200 r3 spidy99 I would strongly suggest him for anything other than bgs. Can do short, medium, long form content and has insane utility. Can counter unstoppable, evade, power gain, buff punishing nodes, healing (with despair). And this is all by himself, with the antivenom synergy he gets even more versatile as he can reverse power gain right from the beginning of a fight and can play the no hit game by just hitting block which is very useful for nodes like hazard shift. He doesn't need the synergy for other stuff but does really benefit from high sig.

Overall he is pretty cool, I did use him a lot in 9.2 exploration, had managed a necropolis claire voyant solo in 5-6 minutes with no synergies just boosts as well. I like quicksilver a lot as well, he is one of the most utility packed champs in the entire game and it all comes down to preference in the end. I would personally pick between these two depending on how much you enjoy them.

Also, for some impressive spidy99 gameplay I'd highly recommend @MaskedLegend as he's literally an expert on the champion. I did learn a lot from him personally and guy has over 40 necropolis solos. To put it into perspective, necropolis has 52 fights excluding grandmaster. I'm pretty sure that you'd get a better understanding of the potential of the champion by checking out his channel.

Thanks I learned a lot about spidy 2099 from this, but I just want someone without any need of awakening and future proof, that's why I made this poll, like you said I heard from ton of people, that spidy 2099 is underrated, even at this point my final decision is between spidy 2099 and Red guardian (I might rank them up both), I'm gonna play both and choose by easy to play, how easy their rotation is, how easy to keeping up their debuffs, their awakening value, not only that I kinda hate when a character overly rely on specials to apply debuffs so I'm gonna take that into account too.

mainly because you haven't told us about which content you are using him for specifically. if it is BGs it is 100% red guardian, but overall s2099 can do it better than other 2

As for op if it isn't bgs you're looking for I'd definitely go spidey, but if the sole purpose is bgs red guardian is your answer.

Quicksilver is a great dual threat too but it just comes down to preference really, a lot of people don't like the playstyle/animations but he is still an amazing champ

Thanks guys, I just updated my Red guardian, he's super fun and easy to play, and his damage is insane, and I'm gonna update my spidy 2099 next time

Something that can help with this kind of utility is the Spidey 99 relic, you're able to become immune to the precision from Dexterity every 8 seconds. Not perfect but it can really help with some mystic matchups.

The part under the image is that with OG Spidey, Gwen and Miles Morales, there is no cooldown, you're always immune to the Precision. Mine sits pretty permanently on Spidergwen which makes her buff immune from her own kit as her charges etc are all passive. Worth noting this won't work with buffs that other champs or nodes can place on her though.
