Make Battlegrounds Scoring More Balanced (Not Just About Speed)

Hey everyone, I’m a returning player—I left the game back in 2019 and just recently came back in 2025. I’m new to Battlegrounds and I really enjoy the 1v1 aspect of it. I think it’s a great addition and honestly, it’s pretty dope.
That said, I’m struggling to understand (and honestly don’t really like) how the point system works. How is time the main deciding factor when some opponents are running suicides and have all Rank 3 7-stars? Some champs hit like a Mack truck, while others feel like they’re swinging pillows or rely heavily on secondary damage.
In one match, I finished both rounds with 100% health and still lost. Two minutes isn’t a bad timer, but it feels like something’s off. There are just too many variables—champ differences, suicides, outdated AI—for time alone to be the deciding factor.
Can someone explain the logic behind this scoring system? It just doesn’t seem balanced.

Eveyplayer face these but high placed players in BG don't bother they just move on to the next match .🤷🤷
They loose -100 one day
Then gain +110 another day
(I reached 150points then played 26 match was at 152) That's how BG is
Thanks for your input.
The matches you posted are hardly examples of an imbalance in the scoring. You can't just be good, and you can't just be fast - gotta be both, and your opponent was better at being both.
