Cyclops mechanic where he idles instead of walking towards the opponent. Would be cool if they add a prefight where you can enable/disable it for werewolf.
Should Werewolf by night have the same Idle mechanic as Cyclops? 76 votes
I like the developmental evolution from Bug Girl’s stand still, to Boy Scout’s AI manipulation, and Murder Pupper really fits in this same design space with his play style. it’s unlikely it’s gonna happen, but it would be a perfect fit.
honestly, it’s an aesthetic fit as well, not just a mechanical fit, “in flavor” for the beast to patiently stare you down and unnerve you…
WBN is brutal considering the fact he's a Werewolf and treats encounters as such so not too sure if he'd stand back compared to charging at the opponent to maul them
Cyclops has it to special intercept easier, why would wolf need it?
howl??????
You mean the howl that automatically triggers after your dash back and idle? What would him not being able to walk forward affect?
Sometimes when you dash back and idle he just moves forward. If they implement the Idle mechanic his howl will be way easier to trigger. They could introduce Prefight for werewolf to Enable/Disable Idle mechanic to satisfy every wolf player.

I've literally never had this happen. Are you sure you're not blocking when you dash back?
