Hi everyone! Need you wise opinion on the resourse investment. On the one hand, in HoF was able to get Gladiator who is useful for Cyclops. On the other hand soon I will get a chance to have Phoenix. Not sure Gladiator's utility and new synergy is better than overall update of the Phoenix.

My Gladiator is r4 and I have never looked back. The man is simply crazy. Shuts off pesky Armour defenders before you even have to land a hit with enough sigs, easiest unstoppable to get and maintain in game and the guy hits VERY HARD.

That's the thing. I know that he is quite strong. Question is that I did a test run with both 5* unduped against 7* r3 Guardian. Surprisingly Phoenix did very well. While Gladiator was having issues because AI was allover the place under intimidation.

Forgot to add that during the test both 5 stars were r1 lvl 1 without any synergies.

That is a draw back but more often than not, the AI behaves in the way you want it to. What I mean is that you basically 4-hit combo into their block when you get the intimidate. You can also heavy into their block while they're indimidated and 95% of the time they dont punish your heavy charge.

I am of the belief that Gladiator has more uses than Phoenix but then again her buff just came out so I could be VERY wrong. Its really up to preference and from you have said you seem like you already know you want to save for Phoenix.

Up to you boss, just sayin tho Gladiator is lowk the goat.

Thanks a lot for a deeper advise. To be honest, I did not decide yet. I am just trying to understand if my Gladiator gameplay is just my "skill issue" 🤣 and he is really as I feel his potential trully is. Phoenix is easy to play. Very straightforward gameplay with a lot of healing. Just I feel that in game modes where you need to be done fast, there is no time to slowly melt an opponent.
