Spider-Punk Glitched?

Anyone else use Spider-Punk? his first parry evade + heavy (and any after it refreshes) puts a taunt that is supposed to make the AI more aggressive so you can intercept and place physical vulnerability, but any game mode I use him in, after the taunt they get less aggressive and dash back and block. Every. Single. Time. Even if I leave a small window open. Is he broken, or have I had bad luck any time I've used him for the last 6 months, because taunt seems to do the opposite effect.

This is what taunt does;

You may be confusing it with Infuriate;

Taunt plays into Punk's encore and awakened ability, the biggest benefit being you have a chance to inflict a rupture on the opponent when the use the same tier of special attacks repeatedly.

I’ve had similar challenges with punk. I love his kit and some of the players whose opinions I respect really love him. But I can’t seem to get the rhythm. After the first parry evade, I try everything possible to fail an intercept to the get benefit during the cooldown, but it almost never works. Either they turtle up, or I am nailing every single intercept like I’m MSD.
