Why lock the path ?

After obtaining Phoenix why not leave that completed path open for people to have fun fighting against her with different champs to their liking, why a one and done situation ?

You've already had a second path for the second copy, so why not leave the path people finish just for fun ?

There's a lot of slow people out here, I'm not saying have the path open, just after completing said path, leave that said path open so people can have fun running different champs.

Why would I need to practice when I've already completed it and already know how to beat it ?

And the fact that you're free to restart it even if you die without losing the plumes, so you can replay it how many times you want before completing it but after completing it you can't run it again.... huh ?

It's already free practice, can run it as many times as you like (until you beat her once, and then twice, depending how many Flames you had)

When you fail to kill her, you get those gate key Flames back, to be able to go back in and try again.

Guess OP is asking about keeping it open to continue to fight her more even afterwards, even though it wouldn’t be in order to try and figure out how to beat her IN THIS QUEST.

Yep, was basically in reply to:

But would be nice to try out even more options (in general) for when you have to start facing her in BG, AW, etc.

(and no AI, just I, lol)

And what's even funnier about this, I literally posted a picture of me already clearing the path, if I wanted to practice I would just keep restarting the fight over and over without beating her, so why would I still need to practice after completing it and getting the reward...
