New AW Regen node disables despair mastery

I used my Mr. Sinister against a Rintrah defender with this node.
Usually when I apply 10 stacks of degen, it causes regen to get reversed, which should have been great for this node.
I have the despair mastery at max level.
However, not only is it not providing the force charges, even the usual despair functionality isn't working and the defender is able to heal, even with 10 stacks of degen on him.

So basically you get stuck on the node and can't get passed the defender this way.

Despair could never reverse healing. And it has a limit of 100%.

I didn't mean fully reverse. With enough stacks of debunks, the opponent doesn't heal and takes a small damage (1 per tick) if they have salve.

But in this case, the opponent is able to fully heal even with 10 stack of degen. Regeneration is not impacted at all.
