Please i need help

Hallo,

Looking forward to play MCOC on the pc but i get this error message.
Easy Anti-Cheat is not installed.

Can someone please help me.

I have fixed the issue

What you have to do is download or open Steam.
Then download and install VRChat.
When Easy Anti Cheat is asking do you want this app to make changes to your device then choose the options yes!
When you are in VRChat the game.
Try again to play MCOC on your pc.

I have try uninstalling and reinstalling the game but this was not for me a solution.

part of the issue is I don't even get the pop up to ask me if I want to give permission to EasyAntiCheat. The command prompt flashes then goes away and then nothing.

This worked for me, but I had to quit out of VRChat to play mcoc. It installed the easy anti cheat so thanks man.

go to c drive
then program files
then games
then select easy anti cheat eoc .exe
make shortcut of file and drag it in desktop
then in desktop open properties of that shortcut
then in target after path giving one space
type install prod-fn
then apply
then ok
then run the shortcut
now open the mcoc PC

Just a note:
Under Windows 10, on my PC, Easy Anti-cheat can be found under:
“This PC > Local Disk > Games > Marvel Contest of Champions > default > game > EasyAntiCheat >”
The file is:
EasyAntiCheat_EOS_Setup.exe

Your target line in the shortcut should read:
"C:\Games\Marvel Contest of Champions\default\game\EasyAntiCheat\EasyAntiCheat_EOS_Setup.exe" install prod-fn

C:\ may change depending on your installation.

I hope this makes things simpler for food to copy and paste.

Steps to resolve
Navigate to the game’s root directory and look for “EasyAntiCheat” subdirectory. There you should find both of the following:

EasyAntiCheat_EOS_Setup.exe
Settings.json
Once there, follow these steps:

Copy the productid field from Settings.json
Open Command Prompt as Administrator
Navigate to the EasyAntiCheat subdirectory by typing in cd
Run the command: EasyAntiCheat_EOS_Setup.exe install
It is normal that no text is output. The next command will confirm that it worked.
Run the command: echo %ERRORLEVEL%
If you see 0 then the install operation succeeded. If you see something else then it failed. Make sure you are running an Administrator Command Prompt and try again.

Pretty sad that so many people are experiencing this with such a hyped release. Controller use is a bit glitchy for map navigation, but i think overall gameplay is better/more responsive once you get used to the controls

Off topic, but how do I open a support ticket?
I can't post on this forum for some reason anymore.
The issue is: I can't access the 9.3 beta, it keeps throwing a certain error. Then forcefully logs me into the live server without hints.

Agree with all the comments here, its hard work to install and then it doesn't work and you get the "anti-cheat not installed" message even though the game doesn't ask you to install it or provide instruction on how to do so. Why don't you test stuff Kabam?

To add when you uninstall the system alert that checks you want to perform the action is from "easy anti cheat".... so it is installed isn't it. absolute jokers
