Modders are ruining BGs

There has been an increasing number of modders lately. I usually see a spike in there activities in the weekend when Kabam is napping. I see more posts here on the forums of people cheating and my alliance chat now more than ever. However more my point is that it taints the game mode and makes it unenjoyable. Especially when it’s already difficult to climb the leaderboard as is and often times you could play for hours and still be at the same spot you started.

This has been an ongoing issue that’s been happening for a while now and it hasn’t been addressed. There is no compensation or a reimbursement of your points as the season concludes. Just report and keep going and hope it doesn’t happen again isn’t good enough anymore.

With MCOC being brought to PC there will be no doubt that modders will continue to terrorize and find more loop holes to cheat. So what preventive measures will Kabam make to keep BGs fair and honest? Especially now that they added the most sought out reward in game now (radiance). These are just my thoughts, bit salty admittedly after all this morning I lost a match I should’ve won but dude ran no dmg mods.

Its the radiance store , before BGs rewards werent roster dividing so there was less incentive for mods

but the way the radiance scales (massive drop of 60% from mysterium 3 to quantum 1 , and hardly any differencebetween Quantum 1 and Arcane 3 ) means that more people will be installing mods and that mysterium and up will be very cut throat competition.

They should've improved the structure of rewards in the ladder not a negligible difference between arc/quantum then a huge spike for mysterium, or increased the number of spots within each bracket

Right? And it's so weird, i have 200 points and i'm gamma 1...people with 235 points is arcade 2 or 1 if i'm not mistaken, like wtf?

Yep, they aren't even trying to make it a close win, they're just out there modder and kabam do nothing. Not sure why we're shocked.

What's more nefarious is the subtle ones. I saw a couple of cheaters come up during some celestial streams and there was some uncertainty among the streamers if they were cheating or not. People were 90% sure they were but it was still theoretically possible to get the scores they were getting.
These blatant idiots are easy fodder for the ban cannon. What worries me is the cheaters who actually try to be subtle about it.

People using mods are not those small throwaway accounts but those with 5-6mil rating and in platinum alliances. Radiance has really upped the ante. People feel it’s worth taking the risk.

I agree with your assessment @TotemCorruption. They are stretching it to three rounds by throwing terrible defenders knowing that they are going to score a consistent number. Win round one, lose round two, and win round three. Hopefully they comment on the cheating because it’s pretty obvious that it’s a lot more than just a handful of accounts. The fight stats for people posting pictures on forum posts are very similar. A lot of hits taken, low number for highest combo, no damage taken.

Mass ban wave for BG cheaters.
Compensate the honest players.

It's honestly really crazy how bad it's gotten without Kabam doing anything about it.
Everything needs to reach a boiling point before Kabam reacts to it.
