Which was Easier "Epoch" or "The Ordeal"

Curious as to what people think was easier out of the entire completion of "Epoch" (I have 1 path done so far) or "The Ordeal" ( I never did grandmasters gauntlet)

Ordeal is definitely easier, but I will say that if you have a bunch of revives and units, Epoch isn’t even that bad. If you take the death by debuff path with science champs it’s pretty easy, ideally less than 8-10 revives for the path.

Now Ares is really really difficult but you can sort of just brute force it so that’s always an option if you have the resources.

Ordeal is longer and you need more diverse counters imo, in fact I actually found it more difficult than Epoch, but also I wasn’t really trying to be perfect against Ares to be fair.

It's the 20 fights in a row before the boss that makes me hesitant to try The Ordeal because I don't wanna waste mt revives or use my units

Ordeal is by far easier than epoch. Just due to the fact, the first time you fight ares, it’s going to cost you a lot of revives. As you get used to it, he gets easier. But even so, ordeal is not nearly as demanding defenders wise, or complicated nodes like epoch is

With the right champs (onslaught, serpent, dsh) ordeal is really fun and pretty easy. I’m not a great player by any means and got through in ~10 revives

-Onslaught, Maestro, Shuri/ Red Skull, Medusa, Red Guardian/ Nick Fury-
This would be the team I would make but it would be much easier if you had Serpeant but having Onlsaught/ Deathless She-Hulk makes everything way easier. Here is which defender I would take with which attacker.

*Doom - Onslaught or Overseer both work with typical rotation
*Terrax - Onslaught typical rotation with heavy spam or if you get Wiccan just cheese
*Vision - Maestro with 7 infuriates can make him use sp 1 and sp 2 multiple times
*MODOK - Medusa has a Auto-Block counter with full combo in sp1 or Nick Fury 8 charge
*Spider-Ham - Nick Fury or Guardian sp1 with broken shield for slow and trauma or just Nick Fury above 8 cahrges
*Weapon X - Onslaught or Shuri/ Red Skull work all
*Thing - Onslaught basic gameplay or Guardian with slow or NIkc Fury
*Korg - Just Onslaught
*Dragon Man - Overseer carefully played
*BPCW - Red Guardian or if you feel confident Onslaught again
*Nightcrawler - Red Guardian slow heavy reset
*Spider-Gwen - Red Guardian slow heavy reset or Nick Fury
*Domino - Either Shuri or Red Skull both work basic rotations
*Mojo - Red Guardian sp2 nuke or eventualy Overseer
*I-Bomb - Overseer regular rotation
*Apoc - Either Shuri or Red Skull basic rotation (make sure you one shot to avoid giving him prowess and making the fight more annoying)
*Sasquatch - Overseer with Despair (I assume you have despair based on the account and number of champs) avoids all healing alltogheter and makes it very easy. Red Guardian could work too.
*Killmonger - Onslaught it
*Void - If you choose for Nick Fury he is the best option for this fight otherwise anyone on the team kinda works
*Nick Fury - Onslaughtyy

*Nameless Thanos - Whoever is left standing but again idealy either Onslaught or Nick Fury cuz highest damage

WHAT A question, of course the ordeal is way way easier. Only Ares by itself present more challenge than the whole ordeal.

Is there anyone else I could use as I don't have Maestro as a 7* either, but thanks for the in-depth list

Those champs should do great. Duped Medusa gets true accuracy, so she can handle more fights if awakened. Dark phoenix should do pretty well? Don’t see why she wouldn’t

Honestly, testing these champs in ordeal sounds fun, I might give it a shot later

I have around 45 revives and 10 team revives, I just hope that's enough hahahaha

I have ---
1. Serpent - R3 Unawakened
2. Onslaught - R3 Unawakened
3. Shuri - R3 Awakened
4. Hulk - R3 Awakened
5. Future Antman - R3 Awakened

After seeing a lot of Yt videos (just team planning not fights) my guess is Serpent, Onslaught, Shuri could take lot of fights so for the remainder ones will Hulk work for mystics and Ibom. Do I need someone else or some ability for specific counter. Any other suggestions are welcomed

You probably don’t need Shuri and FAM. I’d swap in someone who can armor break KM. Or a more reliable counter to Sassy. I assume from your current lineup you’d be trying to keep a bunch of regular shocks on him and let despair do the work with Shuri?

Shuri was for mutants and KM, also works for sassy watched a few vids where she is a counter. I don't know who to take for 5th spot (ability wise, missing power control for vision

Epoch paths are easier but ares is an ass, ordeal depends on what you have

I tried the gauntlet (with 7star r3) and ordeal as trial and think I would need 1 or 2 revives based on my initial performance (no boost) for doom alone plus I think I would do terrible for terrax, so does the ordeal get easier in terms of defenders like if I have to rank them in easy, mid and hard where would most defenders lie including doom and terrax, if anyone could help.
