Worst part is he's most likely been cheating for awhile and kabam hasn't detected him. Now the games on PC. Good luck with stopping the modders

I've never seen this many threads about BG cheating.
I think people should remember two things.
(1) Kabam can't really stop cheating at the source because the game has to run a lot of its code on the player’s device, which gives modders direct access to game data and logic. You can try to make it harder but they'll always be able to work around it initially.
(2) There are hundreds of thousands of BG matches played per day. So even though your or my loss to a modder is personal and outrageous, there is no fiscally realistic way for Kabam to immediately analyze every report as it happens and hand out immediate bans. In fact, we've even seen instances of overbanning or false positives at times. Basically, the process has be measured and practical.

So where does it leave us?
I don't know, but if you can't stomach losing a match to a modder, maybe just don't play BGs? Because at this point, radiance has made the mode so popular that we will all face modders if we play enough.

I mean, Celestial players just use the report button and move on, but sometimes low tier GC and even VC players are the ones most emotional about it.
At the end of the day, it's like anything else in the game. Uncooperative AI, bad RNG, etc. It affects everyone in the long run so it's part of the game.

😂 are you seriously suggesting cause so many people cheat that people should stop playing…! Come on

I accept that it is hard to track but that is the point of the report button. Look at some of the examples and you can see in seconds of looking at it that cheated.. don’t need to be a data experts to see it.

But In reality Kabam seem happy to accept it.. not compensate people who are ‘cheated’

This season has definitely had a resurgence of modders after many seasons of virtually no modders

Are you like, okay?there are players who defend Kabam, there are players who attack kabam. And here you are ,just attacking players for whatever twisted motive you have.

Twisted motives? I've also lost matches to modders and felt compelled to post their info on the forum but it's like, what's the point? As I explained, it is not going to stop anytime soon. So I just do what people with more on the line than me do, report them in game and move on.
And yes, I also have felt like not even playing BGs because of modders, not even just me losing matches to modders, but seeing modders in Celestial, etc. Cheaters suck, they're the scum of the earth, and they can totally ruin whatever environment they infiltrate.
So I have to either accept that it's part of the game or not accept it and stop playing either BGs or MCOC entirely.

By the way, if you want to talk about severe pain, then anyone like me who used to play online poker back in the day and lost to super accounts and other cheaters knows that this will always happen.

At the end of the day, the MCOC doesn't have as much at stake, so I just focus on enjoying the gameplay experience and if I lose to a modder, I will just report them and play the next match.
