New side quest BUGGED

The ghost rider boss in this weeks side quest is bugged. His ebb n flow node gives him TWO protection buffs, one of which being indefinite and unremovable, the second one CAN be removed, but the damage is still reduced by the indefinite protection which I’m guessing is not meant to be there. I used dazzler who gains a prowess buff and did a max ramp sp2 after a heavy, it got rid of a protection stack and there was still one left on the opponent. Please fix this Kabam I used a revive thinking it was my fault @kabampinwheel @kabamDORK

Also in the last week's we've managed to run it twice with different rewards each run. This time, I completed it, previewed the map and saw the 7 star shards there... But when I went in they weren't there?

You have to heavy then use the special attack by I used Apoc and his damage was super low so maybe the damage was bugged

I used White Magneto and it worked perfectly. I believe Dazzler might not work because she doesn't have a prowess before she activates her special, and the prowess she does get, is granted like half a second after she throws it.

No bugs. Read the nodes.
SP should be activated when you already have active prowess. Dazzler activates prowess AFTER Sp, so she doesn’t work.

I used Bishop, Onslaught, Apocalypse and Sunspot and they are not gaining prowess in the GR fight.

"The Defender takes 90% reduced damage from all sources except Special Attacks activated while the Attacker has an active Prowess Effect."

I get zero prowess.

Limited saga champs who generate prowess so node and fight are kind of dumb. But it’s working as intended. Best saga champs to use are bishop, magnetos(preferably white), storm OG. Apoc, Emma and Sauron. Magneto white worked well for me.

The protection icon stays even after heavy attacks should cause it to be removed.

One of the protection icons is due to ebb and flow heavy and other is due to special connoisseur. So if you have a prowess and activate special after removing one protection with a heavy, the other one is removed as well. It will reappear after completion of special.

Don't use Cyclops. I tried my 7r2 and got nowhere. Like someone said earlier you need to have the prowess effects before throwing your specials

I used Cyclops. Build max power. Do Heavy, throw SP2 then SP1, SP1, SP1 and if not lucky one more time 2x SP1 and this is the end.

Emma frost has prowess active before throwing special and she doesnt work to remove second protection

As others have said, there are two protections, one is the prowess one and the other is a knockdown one. You took off the knockdown one but didn’t do the prowess one. While dazzler does get prowess during special, the node stated you need to have had a prowess when you activate the special. Because dazzler gets it during the special, the protection isn’t going down.
