Why did war teleports change

First 2 or 3 new off season wars allowed for teleporting multiple times. Now it’s 1 fight and only option is end node.

Is this intentional?

Youre probably fighting a tier 5 opponent in which case, yes it is intentional.

Yes, if you were in HARD tier map before, and now moved up to CHALLENGER Tier (5) map now.
(or, unluckily still in 6 but matched with a close Tier 5 “cross-border” war and were put onto the higher map via coin flip to determine which map is played on.)

HARD (6) and below have multi-portals can just back-n-forth anywhere, as many times as you want.

CHALLENGER (5) and above have single (forward to end node only) portals.
