I recently awakened my 6* abs man and I think that abs man is the most overrated champs in the game, utility wise he is ok, he is ok on defence and horrible on attack. I don’t see the hype on him can someone explain.

Most ppl know how to fight him and his damage isn't that great

The only thing left is some utility, able to do energy or physical attack, counter certain champions, that's it

Just saw Nick136 beat a R4 sig 110 Serpent with a 6 star ascended Abs Man in BGs. 48K points in the current GC meta. If you think Abs is bad on attack, reconsider.

First of all, well said from someone who hasn’t played abs. He’s the goat. Only someone ignorant of the abs of absorbing man would say he’s trash. He’s great. He counters so much, and is the ultimate terrax, aarkus, anhilus, and knull. He rips through mystic paths. Hes the best. Try him out! 😀👍

It should have been abs man instead of tigra. Tigra is useless for many players and I got one sitting idle I would have happily taken a 7* abs man instead

Aside from immunities depending on which form you take.. Abs-man is pretty solid mystic champion.. op either doesn't know how to use him or lacks skill to use him.. its different matter entirely if you are trying to make damage comparison between a 6* rank5 sig200 ascend champion vs a 7* rank4 sig200.. the jump from 6* to 7* plus the stat focus makes the 7* clearly stronger.. but 6* Abs-man is no slouch..

If Kabam release a 7* Abs-man.. that would immediately bump him up in mystic champion rankings

although I agree that his defensive ability has fallen off a tad bit as people know how to counter him these days, his offensive e utility is off the charts, he does dark phoenix surprisingly well, he does serpent, and he has so much utility with his tankiness, his immunities, his Regen which helps him stay in the fight, and his damage is crazy when you do sp3 rotation for long fights. You are allowed to think that. You’re just wrong, but you can think that! Just look up any abs man necro fights, or abs man in BGs, and watch the health bars melt.

He’s a tough champ to play, but man is he rewarding when you play him right

Handles all content, even necro. Respectfully, you’re either not playing him enough or it’s a skill issue. He helps me everywhere, but it’s like the crossbones situation, you either use him everywhere or you despise him
