Is awakening omega red worth it?

I just started playing again recently, and pulled a mutant ag and OR in the same week. I haven't really played him before and know he's a god tier from the corvus era, but idk if he's still viable or worth ranking and sigging up. (I'm on act 6.2.3).

IMO he's more useful then half of the champions in this game

@Drake2078 1000% yes. He was my first 5 star and he was wild. I’m just saving up for the next omega days….

6* resources are so easy to come by now I don’t think you have to stress too much about the decision. Sig stones and generic gems come round monthly. He’s still a very useful champion with good synergies.

As you progress, you'll find Awakening Gems much easier to come by, so go for it.

Omega Red is still a really useful and valuable questing champion. He won't be great in PvP content any more (Battlegrounds and War) but he should be great for Story Quests, Event Quests, Side Quests, and Incursions.

See if you've got a Mister Sinister relic for him 😉
