I’m not gonna lie, kinda dissapointed by the nico character design.

Edit: should mention it’s not objectively a terrible design, just not the design I’d personally prefer for the character.

Apart from midnight sun games, her hair isn’t usually that style (at least as far as my little knowledge goes lol). Don’t get me wrong, i’m in no way a expert in her character. I read like a few runs of runaway after the series came out. But my favourite design is closer to this

I much prefer when it's pulled back like this.

But I love the 4(/5) pre-fights which really utilizes that sort of Staff of One lore. I'm a huge fan of it and it gives her a lot of utility.

I'm obsessed with the light for Karolina's abilities. Rayn doesn't miss. Don't absolutely love her design though either but I'll get used to it.

My favorite girlfriends are coming to the game ! Amazing ! I hope they have the best synergy . Got I loved them in Marvel’s Runaways. This show was cancelled too soon. I wonder if they will use some of her abilities from the show . In the snow her powers didn't just work as energy blasts but could also short circuit machines .It would be so interesting if she becomes MCOC’s resident robot killer

Nico is my favorite Runaway, so I'm looking forward to her anyway.
Not the biggest fan of the hairstyle, I think Midnight Suns did the half-shaven cut better. They nailed everything else though.

It seems kabam has moved on from designing based on r3 to now the new r4 since thats what they've decided to showcase which is definitely terrible.

Anyways, Nico looks like your average mystic with lots of buff control but little to no damage outside of buff heavy matchups whilst karolina looks very fun to play and shares similarities to dazzler which I enjoy to play so I definitely am looking forward to her. She also doesn't look weak damage wise.

Special animations are cool and I hope their abilities and damage are good but the actual visual design for each character is horrendous to me they both really look like they came straight out of fortnite lol. That, and I'm also salty because where are Mystique and Destiny/Shatterstar and Rictor.

I think Nico’s animation and the staff utility come with changing how her sp2 comes out is super cool. I think that helps me overlook the design, which I’m not the biggest fan of. Karolina is a bit hard to look at (her default look is a little too similar to the lighting issues we had with some champs a few months ago 😅) but I love the sun effect and her rotation seems very fun

(This is my opinion, if you like the design, don’t let me dissuade you 🙌🏻)

Wish we could've gotten Mystique and Destiny this month. I get tired of having months back to back of just getting hero champs. Guess either Nico or Karolina will have to get brainwashed.
