Would you like to see Captain Marvel Movie get a small kit update to make her more wanted for BG's?

I know some of you don't care about the champ. And that's okay, just scroll past this post. But for those who do, would you like to see a kit update? If so, what would you like to see improved? Nothing major, just a few BG tweaks.

Let's keep it civil and positive.

On offense, to help with her ramp up and maintain charges, I'd like for her to:

1. Start BGs with at least 10 charges, OR have a pre-fight ability that allows a synergy with Hulkling, or one of her synergy partners, OR allow her to gain 4 charges per block/parry against Tech champs.

2. Parry non-contact attacks while in Binary Ignition.

3. An immunity to a Mystic ability (for comic book accuracy).

That's her weakness. She absorbs energy e use it, but she can't do that to mystic energy

She definitely shouldn't absorb mystic energy. She should getbulwark buff while less than 25 charges, and should get 4 against techs, 10 if you parry a special attack, for easier ramp.

Class wheel dynamics. VOX has supercharged buffs, but when nullified he takes damage. This is something that is there for many champs. It has been that way for a very long time

I'm very well aware of the class dynamics. But regardless of how long it's been this way, Kabam has still designed some cosmic champs to be immune to some Mystic abilities. Same for some Techs being armor break immune, etc. Class advantage goes out the window when they want it to.

They do as the game changes. And I'm not asking for a complete overhaul, just a few kit changes for BGs.

I'm not sure. You got the link to that post? Yes she's still solid against the right defender, but that doesn't mean there's no room for improvement as the game changes. That has also been part of the feedback for her.

I was not referring to that. I was referring to her taking damage from mystics. That's a thing that still exists today. She could be immune to nullify and still take the damage from mystics bursts

Look at Karolina. Her stun cannot have its duration decreased by tech champions. Now shrugs and duration reducing is not a tech ability(even though there is 1 tech who does that). But it is still there due to the class wheel. So she can do her rotation against techs regardless of the nodes

CMM was released in 2019. Then, having her take that damage from mystics was valid as the game didn't really care about IGNORING CLASS RELATIONSHIPS AS IT DOES NOW. So it was a way to show how she was vulnerable to mystic champs (as mystic > cosmic).

I would buff her by coping a few things from karolinas kit such as the glance on parries, she gains 3 charges per parry. 5 from techs or parrying special attacks. Meaning a total of 9 parries against non techs (exc sp attack parries). It is definitely fair since she does not need to throw sp1 and is a total sp2 and raw damage nuke. This parry will definitely stop her from taking fights in 20s and keep her in the consistent 35 -50 second range depending on the meta. Still she would be a very strong attacker. I would take away the energy damage ramp up mechanic as that's a 19 second onslaught fight right there.
I would also give her some modern cosmic utility like true accuracy or undermine, she may also be able to parry non contacts(WHILE IN BINARY) so she can take zola.
Also binary mode lasts as long as it does with the fury synergy (this will be inputted into her base kit) so she would actually be good in questing and war instead of just battlegrounds cos binary mode is very difficult to keep up especially with the difficult nodes we get these days.

That's how I would tune her up.

I think all champs that are explicitly designed for a longer ramp should have a head start on their charges in BG. Would you believe it, this is exactly what they did for serpent.

Plus, this was a chase champ that they made a huge deal out of. Give her a boost so she stays relevant after players spent months to get the champ.

She's good against Onslaught and any other energy damage dealers plus also good whenever there's shock debuff metas, so she's fine.

So you're saying remove her energy damage ramp up that often gets her 20 second KO's against Onslaught, and replace it with something that will make her take longer to KO a champ?? Longer but consistent? So a consistent KO time range is what you prefer?

I like the modern cosmic utility suggestion. Her Sp 1 has a good one, just not as needed and not a huge damage dealer.

Starting BGs with 10 charges has been the most popular suggestion by a lot of players

I wouldn't say she's on the short list. She's still completely viable.

If they are going to buff another champion that is in the mid tiers of most tier lists, we need someone in the skill class. Preferably one who is already a 7* or soon to be released as one.

That 7* skill roster is feeling limited right now.

My point is that the time and resources on making her slightly better in one game mode would be way better spent on characters that aren't useable at all right now.

I voted yes just for te simple fact of her not being able to handle mystic energy in the game vs being able to in the comic books. That just seems like it should be in affect in the game as well. Starting with a min of 10 binary charges would be real damn helpful in BGs

I voted 'Not sure' as to me she's pretty balanced as she is. She's pretty good as a 7* R3 - not overpowered generally but in certain use cases she really shines. I'm really liking running CMM against Onslaught at the moment.

If you can get me a DDHK buff @Terminatrix I'll happily change my vote though

Being vulnerable to magic is a common weakness in the comics. Particularly for otherwise very powerful characters.

Thanos, whilst wearing the Infinity Gauntlet, was still susceptible to Dr Strange's magic.

Magic was the key to defeating Phoenix in Avengers Vs X-Men

Heck, even Superman (yes, DC) is extremely susceptible to magic.

She's got a weakness; which (in game) permits her to more powerful in other areas, without being unbalanced.

Take the weakness away, and what else does she have to lose, to balance it?

Her being a solid answer to Onslaught is good, but not every defender is going to be Onslaught. There is still a desire from quite a few players to have her start BGs with at least 10 charges in general. If a ramp up headstart was given to Serpent (who is a ramp up champ), let's do the same for her.

And UMMM...about that DDHK...😅
