I played my 5 BG matches just now and got the promised rewards, but they’re nowhere to be found. Has anyone else had this issue? I’m sure they’ll turn up sometime.
honestly just give everyone comp of like 15k radiance
It’s gonna have to be something like this… cause the 100 point and 200 point objectives beyond the GC objectives are gonna be way more achievable for some than others. Last season at least we all started in vib 2 with the same path forward
yea and winning the match in gc is easy for some people they should do so everyone who reached gc last season get compensated so i can get some comp:)
The discord is the primary form of communication now regardless. The forums are a lawless land 99% of the time. I’d recommend people download it and just keep notifs on for mcoc at least
Needs to get fixed asap. Either start us all the same at Vib 1 (again) or drop us all to Diamond 4.
Will affect matchmaking, objectives, progression, ranks, etc. Basically, the typical new update $hitfe$t.
Dr. Zola
You know this And we know this. They can't touch this. Too complicated as many players are already in GC. And ofcourse those guys are missing radiance too.
I'm not expecitng any fix on starting positions. Just waiting for the Radiance objective fix at this point.
Vancouver be like.
Every. Single. Time. Events that don’t start. Updates that are bugged. Events that don’t count points correctly.
No banner. No in game message. No thread.
There are players who have done their 5 matches and are already in GC. No response.
Dr. Zola
Kabam made an announcement on Discord about this issue
Was it something like “uh…. Oops”?
All they said was they’re aware of the issue and looking at options.

It goes into overflow. You can claim from there.
Got ‘em. I restarted the app loads of times but didn’t think of that. Thanks so much

Then discontinue the streams, the social media pages and the forums.
Stuff gets posted hither and thither with the same rigorous discipline they use for creating new updates.
Uninstalled discord under a week after they made us install it during the launch. No need for extra app clutter. People sharing screenshotd in Line chats is enough for mcoc.
So the remedy was just to screw over everyone who couldn't log in immediately and exploit a bug? I doubt Kabam is just going to hang most players out to dry like that
Objectives are bugged, seems they didn’t reset so are carrying over from last season. If you completed all you get nothing, otherwise what shows is what you didn’t complete.
Why is it too much to ask that Kabam have at least one person on the board on launch days?
It would have taken them about 30 seconds to copy and paste that “update” here.
My honest opinion: because they don’t care enough to get it correct the first time or to fix it day one if it isn’t. And they take you and every other loyal Summoner for granted.

That’s disingenuous. Bugs are bound to happen, saying they just don’t care is just baseless
This is a 10 year old game built on lots of code. Bugs are obviously gonna occur, doesn’t mean that they all just gave up

when bugs occur consistently and happen over the same thing there has to be some problem on their part of not caring enough

Oh wow it’s almost like it’s a 10 year old game built on loads of code and changing one thing disrupts a lot
No it’s not about not caring enough. Coding is insanely difficult and there isn’t a single other mobile game like this that receives massive monthly updates built on an old engine. The devs aren’t all lazy and incompetent just because people are upset over content being bugged at launch

If one is truly convinced bugs are obviously gonna occur (and it’s safe to assume there is a decent likelihood they will happen around updates), what is the most reasonable conclusion to draw from (a) failure to communicate promptly in anything other than one of the least used game channels, (b) failure to comment beyond “we are looking at it” and (c) failure to have folks working on redressing the issue from the onset.
To be clear, “don’t care” and “don’t care enough” aren’t the same. I care about lots of things, but many of them I don’t care enough to do anything meaningful about (other than my generic sense of caring) and don’t feel any sense of urgency to redress.

I didn’t say their communication here was acceptable
I do think this community has a lot of people who assume stupid things based on bugs which are expected to happen

The discord has nearly 50k people on it at this point so no it’s not one of the least used channels. But yes they should have communicated it here as well
I agree the communication here was poor. I don’t agree that the devs “didn’t care to get it right the first time” as if it’s that easy

Basically Kabam said they are aware of the issue and is currently discussing options on what they can do to remedy the situation
Kabam also said, wait for more information from them

Last season Arcane 3, now starting at Diamond 4

Comp for everyone
Edit: They truly don’t care, what an awful greedy company /s
Thank you people on line chat for the speedy information update.
"WIN" one game to claim it.
They didn't mention this, but thats what happened during the last season's bugged radiance objective.
