Light Essence in the store

Can we still have the option to buy light essence. The we store is fine with me. I’m currently at 11, and just realised it’s no longer in the store. I understand we have a new eidol champ but there may be some who still need light essence to acquire lumatrix.

    Same, I am at 10. If I knew I could not buy new Eidol with those in future, I either, would not have bought so many through weekly deals, or would have bought more to make it 12 to dupe him, as he will be hard to obtain in general...

    Did you complete the Ordeal?

    There's still one light essence in the rewards ...

    They really couldn't have been any clearer in their communication that light essence would go away and the new essence would start today. It sucks that you came up short, but they've been on top of it. At least you can trade them in for 1,500 7* shards each.
    I knew about this. Since I’m not spending, I’m just wondering, does it make sense to keep the Light Essence? Maybe there’s a chance in the distant future? Or will these Eidols end up in the basic pool? If that’s the case, I’ll just go with the 7-star shard trade. I’m asking because I want to know if it’s even worth collecting a lot of Shatter Essence, since I know I probably won’t reach 12. What did Kabam Crashed say about this?

    Each eidol will have their own currency and they will be skipping the Titan crystal and eventually appear in the basic. If you know you won’t hit 12, the only reason to collect them is the shard trade in but probably not pushing super hard or anything (or if you want the 6*).

    A bit unfair.

    The norm for most things in the game is to have a timer countdown.

    Things without a countdown are usually infinite.

    Also no warning the last day it was part of the valiant weekly deal. It was just gone.

    I was one shy and would’ve bought one.

    Kabam leaving money on the table 🤷‍♂️

    Are there plans to add Light Essence to the Radiance store? If not, could there be? The Light Essence was already sourced to those who played competitively in high tier Battlegrounds, it would make sense to put them in the "competitive currency" store. They already have the Deathless pieces catch-up in there, Eidols feel like the same thing. This would give "the top 100,000 Summoners" a chance to obtain the Eidols if they wanted to save for them.

    None of the Eidol essences will be returning in any other form. Once they're gone, they're gone. One of the main differences between Eidols and deathless champs is that the Eidols will eventually join the basic pool of champions.

    Has Kabam confirmed they will not be doing this? It was never announced that the Deathless pieces would show up in the Radiance store or Wheel of Fate before people bought the pieces for units
