Issue with battleground progression in new season

I ended last bg season in Uru 2 and in new season I have dropped to Diamond 4 which doesn't make any sense. Even many people below my progression are above me

    Hey all, I want to clarify that this is a bug.

    I finished Uru 6 last season and got demoted to Diamond 4 this season but the strange part it says I ended last season in Vib 1?

    Clearly in the screenshot you can see I was playing in GC and ended the season with 2 wins.

    Similar issue with me as well. I went form Uru 2 to diamond 4 which doesn't make any sense. Many people in vibranium 1 last season are still in vibranium.1
