Questions About Arena Grinding

For the arena grinders of MCOC...

First, I am so so sorry.

Second, I am trying to get top 400 in the upcoming (hopefully) Karolina Dean arena. I already have maxed cide masteries for PI purposes (3133), a **** ton of arena boosts, and a decently well developed roster, but I still have a few concerns and questions.

How many points should I aim for (if it is possible to make such an estimate), and is there a certain strategy for the order I should use my champs in? Should I start with my hard-hitters or go for my r1 4*'s first or some sort of combination of the two?

If anyone could lmk, that would be HUGELY appreciated. If I'm missing anything, also pls lmk. Thanks everyone!

    Honestly, if you're asking, you probably won't make it. You'll probably have to use units to refresh your top champions. Here's a link that has some of the previous cutouts.     OP, if you are determined to try, it might be better to wait for the second week of her arena and see how the scores look for week 1.

    I might try to see how much I can push without spending units since even saying ~75 million for top 400 is an understatement from the looks of it and then do a big push for week two like you said. I don't really expect to make it, but I am hoping to get at least a 5* since she looks AWESOME. Thanks a bunch y'all!

    For the 5*, usually 30 million is sufficient

    I would not spend units targeting a 6* or 5* in the arenas, although if it is a champ you really really want, then of course go for it. The long term strategy is to build up your roster so these grinds become easier. An 80 million grind is not a big deal to someone with a large roster which would almost automatically land any 6*. But to get there requires building up roster. There is a positive feedback loop in the arena where the more higher rarity champs you have, the easier it is to get higher rarity champs. If you're in it for the long haul (and not everyone is or can be) you should be looking to pick off the easier champs, the ones "no one wants" because in the arena, 6* Iron Fist scores about the same number of points as 6* Dr Doom. 80 million points is rough for a developing roster, but people were grabbing 6* Titania for more like 30 million just a few months ago, and the more of those you have, the less 4* champs you need to contemplate using in featured grinds, since they score many times the amount of points.

    This won't help for Carolina as she's coming up soon, but it would help down the road for the next one.
