If they did they could have send a mail to warning everyone hey in a month we gonna stop selling the essence for this champ or not make him obtainable anymore. Just because they have a stream not everyone is gonna have time to watch the stream and write in there notes ayy this is when the light essence stops selling. I'm not worried cause Bullseye is still better than him in a way but still sad too see a cool champ go miss and now i gotta wait I'm assuming to get him in regular crystals. They could have just released an endgame challenge for him like they did with the deathless champs so people could obtain there last light essence they need for him or decrease it to 10...

I guess thats true. But they were friendly with the deathless champs (not fun having to do the challenges through bgs or other stuff but we're obtainable and a interesting challenge). I understand why dark phoenix was a pay wall but lumatrix as one of the eidol champs should have been obtainable for everyone. You want people to enjoy the new champs you create not make them miss out on it and start to hate the game even more...we already got terrible stuff going on in the game with the uncontrollable defenders that have been released. The last you want is to make more players angry by missing an eidol champ that people should be able to obtain especially endgame players. But then again there a company not a video game company. So money speaks more than design champs too see people enjoy them and get good feedback

Deathless was a year+ long chase that culminated in a special quest for a deathless thanos that literally anyone could've done for completely free. Eidols are different. They aren't going to be used for a special quest or for some kind of "general". They're just original creations like aegon and Guillotine. Only difference is this time you gotta cough up a little cash to get them before they eventually hit the basics. Now, I'll agree that the current monetization model is getting out of hand, but at the same time it's their choice.

Do you usually get the monthly champs that are released (Nico and Karolina this month) by doing content? No. Same goes for Lumatrix. He is not *meant * to be gotten by doing content. Few people will get him through BG and Arena . But the rest have to pay. Just as usual

Just because they are kabbam creations like Ægon and Guilotine doesn't justify them been locked behind a paywall. I rather have Ægon and guilotine locked behind a paywall then lumatrix 💀. But i get what you saying bro. Is there choice but they handled wrong. Leave the pay champs for events like banquet or heart of fire crystal like events. But champs like these should be obtainable especially when you placing these resources for people to earn in game. Not like those events you need money or units to get those champs and the exclusive ones ( aka weapon X, Jessica Jones or Dark phoenix)

When's the last time you got a normal champ release in the same month they came out? Aegon and Guillotine were pay to get early as well you just also had to get lucky to get them from featured crystals. Those are no longer a thing when it comes to 7*.

The reason I compare the deathless champs and eidol is cause there doing the same almost with lumatrix. You either did bgs (like the deathless champs pieces to get him) or nightmare raids. Nightmare raids ain't hard no more thx too goodness they nerf them but again placing a resources where most people have access to obtain a resource is my problem. The deathless champs where not even pay. You just had to legit work hard to get them or have 50 units for each chest to get them, now its radiance still not easy for those who did not obtain them. Thats the problem with lumatrix they didn't give people enough content to get him besides either doing nightmare raids which is fine, score 1st in arena which is just time consuming to do that and missing out from other arenas units. Last the fact you had to place i believe celestial to even obtain a piece from him is absurd. Like I said if they offered content endgame content for him. It would make sense but they didn't. But like I've said is what is it at this point. Guess some extra 7 star shards won't hurt
Because they arent being used to get another trophy champ like dthanos. They're just regular champs similar to aegon. Not that hard to comprehend.

Deathless thanos is no trophy champ. Kang and thanos are trophy champs. Deathless thanos is a champ that was designed to be both good in offense and defense. Not trying to be a smart you know what but dthanos just doesn't fit trophy champ. Deathless vision does though. Dude needs a buff. Hope this one buff helps him out
