Banned for WHAT?!

I Just logged in game for doing AW and I decided to do Battlegrounds, in the first fight (in the middle of fight, I got banned). WHY? WHY? My account have EIGHT YEARS OF HARD FTP and I NEVER USED ANY MODS OR WHATEVER. PLEASE KABAM EXPLAIN TO ME. NEXT WEEK WE'LL HAVE RAIDS.

They put a big announcement on Discord today saying they invented a new algorithm to catch cheaters and ban them. They said they banned tons of people today. I think you should send in a support ticket and ask them to look at your account. Their algorithm is new so it could have made a mistake.

Even if you're not an actual cheater, nobody on this forum has access to your account or the ability to unban you.
You need to contact Kabam support through the website.

Good luck getting bans reversed though. Gaslighting support has never worked in the past as far as I'm aware of, and doing it on the forums has an even worse success rate. Well, both have zero, but it happens in private in support tickets, and a certain percentage of the time it fails publicly on the forums, which is a worse kind of failure mode.

Entertaining, but much worse. Kabam has a policy to not discuss disciplinary actions out of respect for privacy for the player in question. This protection disappears the instant someone challenges the validity of disciplinary actions on accounts publicly.

I do believe there is a bug with this new update, I couldn't play bgs normally the day the update happened and the game froze when opening the gold ticket at the lower right part of the screen. And btw no, I haven't cheated, I would not throw my ftp veteran account to the trash.

It has nothing to do with whether you cheated or not. I this ban comes from he source you downloaded the game. If you got your APK file from anywhere other than Google Play or Apple stores then that's the reason you got banned.

The China Google store ban thing is a pretty big issue..not just for the player, financially for the company too...

You are 100% right in that both I’m assuming this is a mistake and that I’ve backed up users with bans in the past (mostly incorrectly) due to my naivety of believing people wouldn’t post here if they were actually cheating.

This feels different. Maybe these are all legit cheaters and I’m gun jumping. It just doesn’t seem like it to me.

I’ll shut up about the issue as there’s nothing really helpful I can contribute, and watch the drama unfold.
