@KabamPinwheel @KabamDORK

I am using an apple Mac Mini and would like to download the game.

To do this I have installed an open source virtual machine app (Paralels Desktop) and created a fully working version of windows 11.

If I were to download the pc version of MCOC using a virtual version of windows 11, would it ban me for use of 3rd party software or would it work just fine? My account is a couple years old and would really not like to loose it over this lol

    Personally to be on the safe side I wouldnt do it. Bluestack isnt allowed so I would say this is in the same area which wouldnt be allowed either.

    I'm not sure if that would be allowed or not. If you want, you can always create an alt account and try it out. If you aren't banned within a couple of months, then it would be fine. If it is banned, then we know it isn't fine.

    Typically, anything regarding emulators is going to be risky business.

    I'm fairly sure Dorky Dave suggested trying it on a livestream (the PC launch one) and I believe said something along the lines of "let us know if it works, but it's not officially supported" if I remember correctly, so would be helpful if Kabam could get an official answer to this.

    I'd wait until it launches on Steam. In theory, it should be fine, though I don't know how different parallels is from partitioning your hard drive (which should be fine). Like Pikolu said, make an alt account and test it out. Parallels could be too close to an emulator though.

    It's already launched on steam. While it is a demo, it has all the functionality except being able to make in-game purchases with real money.

    You'll probably get banned. Wouldn't do it if i was you. Plus, if I'm being honest, pc version is not worth to take that risk yet.

    It is not yet perfect.(Although, mobile version is not as well, but still)

    As long as you also install the anti cheat software that comes with the MCOC download it should be fine if it works, but if it doesn’t, Kabam won’t be able to help to get it to work (at least not yet)
