You downloaded the game through an APK and therefore you're breaking ToS. You didn't get banned before because they didn't have this system that helps them detect third party software, modding etc a lot faster, this however doesn't mean you weren't already breaking ToS back then. If you have a problem with lagging and freezing on an old device like mine, you can find and install 32 bit armeabi v7a versions from pages like apkmirror.
