The game is now back online for all platforms. Thank you for your patience during this outage.

If downloading games from unofficial channels is illegal, why not ban in the first place?

Why?Now, these accounts have grown into several 7R3, and even a few 7R4.
Why is Kabam just banning them now?

You didn't read the announcement on ban wave, did you? Read that and you will get your answers.
Did you read what I said carefully?

When you are banned without any warning or reason, let's see how you feel.

So, before Kabam adopted this new technology, these accounts were compliant, but after it was adopted, they became illegal?

no, they were never compliant, they're just enforcing their rules. as far as i know, and i'm 99.9999% sure, using modified software has always been against the TOS.

i totally get your frustration and even if you didn't gain any competitive advantage, they're clamping down hard on the cheating ecosystem.

Did they make any explanation about this matter?

I think logical reasoning is not your strong point. Since Kabam has previously allowed those who downloaded the game from unofficial channels to play the game normally, and they happily accepted their payment, now that a new technology has suddenly emerged, you deny that these people are customers?

Do you think this is a reply? Are you dyslexic?

Why don't they seriously catch those who actually violate the rules in BG mode, but suddenly ban a lot of innocent people who have never used cheating software?

Your account and the game itself are two different things.

Your account should be fine if you didn’t cheat.
But the game itself needs to be downloaded and installed from a legitimate and approved vendor like Google or Apple.

I still hold the same view. If you do not recognize that games downloaded from certain official channels are legal, then ban them from the beginning, instead of waiting for these accounts to grow a lot and then suddenly banning them now.

Even if they used an unofficial client, so what? People just like the game and many even paid for it. What did they do wrong?

And how exactly they will ban those accounts from the beginning? If the anti cheat has been developed recently? From now onwards, if any new player will download from any unofficial channel then they will be banned from the beginning.

They actively play the game and occasionally go to the official forums to give their opinions or participate in discussions. I think that after so much time has passed, if Kabam has to drive away those who download the game through unofficial channels, at the very least, they should give them a warning and give them enough time to find a way to change the download channel, or simply give up.

This isn’t me. I’m not the one making these rules.

I’m saying this is how it works.
If you installed the game from somewhere other than an approved vendor, you are banned.

Again, this should not affect your account.
Just uninstall the game and reinstall it from an approved vendor.

They are not good at technology, and you still want to defend them? So, why didn't they warn players in advance and give them enough time to change the download channel? Instead, they chose to ban it directly? Isn't this the normal way of thinking?

I agree that it was a poorly planned rollout and should have been communicated much better.

What part of Announcement you don't understand. I will try to put it if I was talking to a child so you may understand.

-Before: No one was banned before because they didn't have technology to detect where the game was downloaded from.

-Now: They have a technology to detect where the game was downloaded from.

-Before and Now: Never it was allowed to download game from unofficial source, not before not now.

-Conclusion: You were not banned before because they couldn't detect, now they can so you are banned and should have been banned day 1 if they could detect it before.

    Stop with your ridiculous arguments.

If a shop security didn't have a technology to trace Thiefs doesn't mean theft is allowed.
Let me try to tell you the same way I teach my kids: a responsible attitude is to do things for others seriously when you take their money, instead of just using some broken rules to fool your customers.

I'm glad we agree on this.

How about you find an account that has been banned this time, try to log in on your device and see if you can log in?

    I’m being nice for now.

How hard is it to install the game from a legitimate source?
What reason would you have to install it from an illegitimate source other than cheating?

I didn't use cheats. I just downloaded and installed the game 32 bit information from apkmirror (I do this installation for 5 years long time including every update) Now I want to ask you what do you know about this little man apk? Why are people like us who use costum os and don't use play store considered cheating? This is the question we are asking. I swear there are tens of thousands of people who download the application from google play store, access its content with tools and change it and cheat but I can't prove it. Why are we guilty while they are still in the game?

serial killers: hey, why didn't you guys warn us that DNA tech will be developed later?? what a slap in the face! this is really unfair. give us a warning or something. i feel deceived.

Are you really going to use this metaphor to defend Kabam? So you don't hate those who cheat in BG mode, but come here to hate those who use unofficial channels to download games, what is the point?
