Battle grounds timer window

It is incredibly frustrating when your opponent KNOWS they are going to lose or don’t have a direct counter so they let the timer window in battlegrounds champion selection expire and you don’t have a chance to select the direct counter to your opponent. How does Kabam continue to let this go on is beyond me. Every player should have a chance to select their champion. The time window is still bugged and it screws the player over when trying to get the proper counter
