Just heard that we are only allowed one account per device, just wanna confirm so Ik if I should leave my alt alone
With the recent ban wave, there's a lot of people claiming they did nothing wrong and still got banned, and there's lots of people who believe them and are looking for the bogeyman responsible for those bans. So I've heard people speculating that using VPNs gets you banned, or playing music in the background, or recording your play, or playing multiple accounts on the same device. No one, of course, is lying or mistaken.
None of those things triggers bans. If they did, half the playerbase would be locked out of the game now.

Absolutely agree as I have only one account using my Iphone only
10 years player in APAC (not in Mainland China) Use VPN only when I traveled to Mainland China due to great firewall restriction-no issue in logging in the game Finally, always played music in background when I played game (during my workout in gym)-no issue

So, if I've been playing one device for the past 2 years, installed and updated from the Play store, and got a 7 day suspension for 3rd party software, how am I supposed to correct what I haven't done? That just means I'll probably get a 30 day suspension at random next time. If I run the built in game mode of my S23, does that violate TOS? Not sure that was even running, but can't correct what can't be identified, and according to a search that shouldn't violate TOS for games. They need to clearly identify what they're claiming is the violating software. I haven't side loaded any mcoc games. They're going to lose players over this, and down the road many more will be suddenly suspended without warning that have no idea what they did wrong, assuming that Kabam's code is flawless, which I highly doubt. I've yet to get a reply from an actual person from support. They definitely did not implement this properly to support players that are just playing the game.
One account per email. You can run as many accounts on a device as you want if they're yours. Many players run multiple accounts on the same device.
Is it allowed to have two accounts if one is linked to Kabam ID and the second to Google Play under the same email?
Was your ban overturned ? Is that what you have (and wondering if it was OK, yes) 1 Kabam account, 1 Google Play account using same underlying email ?
Yes that is fine (but probably not recommended). Game does not care what PlayCenter is using for an underlying email address, and doesn’t even know what that email address is.
Thus why you can not use PlayCenter for getting email's from Kabam, or submitting tickets for that account, and can’t purchase (even the free daily stuff, or any WebStore Promo Codes) from WebStore for your PlayCenter game account.
So people having multiple Kabam ID's (multiple game accounts) just have extra created email accounts to use for them. That way they can do correspondence with Kabam about account issues, and can use WebStore.
If you get banned permanently, you’re not supposed to create a new account because that counts as ban evasion. That goes for game accounts, forum and discord accounts too.

That does not apply to game accounts. Forums and discord yes, though they no longer seem to uphold them. If you have a game account banned permanently, you are free to start another one, and you get to play that one so long as you don't cheat. Obviously if you cheat again, you lose that one too. They really can't say that you can never play the game again because you got banned, but they can keep banning you if you keep cheating.

I got told it was ban evasion when you do that in game. Maybe the rules have changed over the years. The Kabam overlords granted me clemency in regards to my discord ban evasion charge, on account of I was wrongly banned in the first place. But I’ve never been banned from the game, even temporarily.

There's a big difference though. Forums and discord, nothing changes. Much like that squid games guy, he was able to just do the same thing over and over again with no change in where he started from. With the game, you have to start over from scratch. You lost any and all progress you made, so to an effect there is a debt paid as a consequence of your actions. And if you keep cheating, you keep losing stuff and have to start over. So it isn't really evading a ban if you have to start from 0 every single time. And they can eventually IP ban a player, but that's pretty rare.

Oh man, IP bans are evil, I’ve been IP banned from Reddit and it’s so annoying

Yes my ban was overturned. I created an alternate account using Google Play under the same email a long time ago. I don't use it though so I'll probably delete. I didn't know that I couldn't use promo codes and collect crystals for it either

You can still buy “in-game”, just not the better offers on WebStore without having a Kabam ID for it.
And they've sort of moved away from always using Promo Codes on the store anyways in favor of Live Stream Codes on that platform (when it works).

I don't recall Kabam ever saying that, but there's a subtle difference. On the forums, you aren't even supposed to make alt accounts at all, whether you're banned or not. You're supposed to make one account and use it, because you aren't supposed to misrepresent yourself as being multiple people. Making a new account because your original one is banned is ban evasion because you aren't even supposed to do that in the first place, and you're doing it to evade the ban.
But in-game you are allowed to make multiple accounts and play them independently. In general, Kabam bans individual accounts for violations within that account. Since you are allowed to make multiple game accounts playing a second one is not ban evasion per se. However, there are extreme cases where a player will do something that will get all of their accounts banned - at least the ones Kabam can find. Even so, there's no specific rule against making another one, although Kabam at their discretion could decide to ban it as well. But it isn't a form of ban evasion, because having multiple accounts in general is allowed.

this is coming from the expert on ban evasion btw

It’s perfectly fine to do so. There’s tons of evidence out there to show it’s safe.
Do not worry.
