Just a quick post of anyone hasn't seen Kabam are looking into the bans. Not sure if I can give links or not. I was (thankfully) unaffected but there will be compensation.

Who could have guessed that banning over 10 thousand players wouldn't have resulted in some innocent players getting impacted. Can't wait to see what a specific group of "forum members" have to say now that it has been proven. This is why it doesn't hurt to be open minded instead of thinking everyone is a lying cheater.

Well most of the time that was true or a similar thing applied. There were false positives, however I doubt it was as many as you think.

I hope it makes people with bad version of game actually install a proper version.

This is probably temporary and probably for incorrectly banned accounts.

False positives. Not true. Read again. They're saying within the group of false positives that they are reversing the bans for that some are probably still true and should stay banned but they're reversing them anyway

Keep in mind this does not mean the players whose bans are reversed are 100% certain to be clean. Rather, it means they should not have been flagged by whatever algorithm they ran for this ban wave. If any of those people are in fact running unauthorized clients or running in unauthorized environments, this should not be taken as an endorsement that what they are doing is perfectly fine. They should still migrate off of those clients and environments as soon as possible, or they risk being banned in a later sweep.

Mmmmm nope! Don’t think it will! I’m still very confident that 90% of the bans are legit. And if Kabam messed up, and they reverse it, then I’m happy that justice is served. Doesn’t change the fact that the forum was cluttered with nonsense spouted by people who deserved the ban
