There was an announcement that after investigating reports of incorrect bans, Kabam identified a group of players for which it may have misidentified players running unauthorized clients. They are now in the process of identifying those players and reversing their bans. The announcement also states anyone incorrectly banned will be getting some form of compensation next week.

Anyone saying what that compensation is at the moment is probably lying, as it hasn't gone out yet nor has it been announced what it will be yet either. They probably haven't yet decided on it, as they are currently working to reverse any ban that may have been issued incorrectly first.
