Wasn't Ares supposed to be the new Everest boss?

I thought he'd be the final boss of Everest content from now on with his basic version being the Epoch boss and then they could iterate on that for the next Everest content. Wouldn't wheel of fate have been where we would have seen him next?

Since they said it would be Deathless Thanos, no.
I'm sure we will see Ares again soon though. Can't go too long without some good copy and paste content.

They didn't say all everest for the foreseeable future would be an ares boss they only said he'll pop up every now and again.

Well yeah, he's questioning why they said it would be Deathless Thanos. The guy's already in like 3 other special quests, I would have much preferred fighting Ares again than that Deathless bum for the millionth time

we really need nore variety in end game bosses, I'm getting really fukin sick n tired of it always being some version of thanos.

I'd rather it be thanos than more collectors/grandmasters. But that's just me.
