Why are Deathless Pieces stil 5000 units?

With the recent Wheel of Fate we saw a selector were you choose 1 of 10 defenders, a titan nexus or a single Deathless Piece? Why does Kabam see Deathless Pieces as so valuable still? All Deathless Champs cost each 25000 units fresh ti obtain and getting all of them costs 100000 units. Now I have all of them except 3 D Groot pieces but a single piece shouldn't cost nowhere this amount or atleas they could have put a Deathless Champion selector to make it more fair rather than just one piece for all the effort. Maybe this rant is a bit pointless but I'm still baffled that Kabam thinks these Deathless Pieces are so valuable.

You can buy it from the Radiance store. It's around 56K radiance. I'm waiting till I get enough radiance to buy the one piece I'm missing.

I decided I am going to keep playing until there is a point where I am stuck, keep doing Valiant Gauntlet every week and maybe even start a weekly showcase threads of champs I have no idea about and don't have.
Oh OP sorry, no deathless pieces at 5k are Ok.

A 25k unit champion is definitely an honor. Man, if you think about it each deathless champ is 25k units, so a full deathless team is 125k units just sitting there.

They said multiple times the first go around is going to be the easiest way to get the deathless champs after that it will be much harder which i am fine with i am missing 8 pieces 4 dkg 2 dv and 2 dsh 2 i can grind from carinas a dsh and a dkg so i will need 5k units to get 1 or do wof

Yeah probably what I'll do to in the next Battleground season... would be able to afford it during this one with the compensation for the RNG bans but Ig you don't get **** if you didn't do anything.
