First time I've reached GC, does it work the same as VT? If I reach say Gamma 2, can I drop down to Gamma 3, 4 etc .. or back to Uru?

    You can drop if you lose or if you don't play for some time

    In GC is all about the total trophies. It's not about winning and getting up, it's about how many trophies you have and where that total places you in comparison to all GC players.

    Current ranking during the BG season (in G.C.) does not mean anything.
    You don't get anything as you move up (or down) those “current” ranks in G.C.

    It is only upon end of season, as to where you are relative to everyone else in G.C. (based on your G.C. Points, and each rank/tier has a set amount of slots everyone is ranked at)
