Stay at Thronebreaker or move on to valiant

FlikFlik Member Posts: 57
I am at a point where I can easily become valiant but I am thinking of staying at thronebreaker. Why?
- 6 star sig stones that we get from super daily event
- 6 star crystal shards that we get from super daily event
- T5 Basic Catalyst that we get from super daily
I am thinking of staying at thronebreaker to build my 6 star roster.

I don't play BGs and it is already getting difficult to get T4 CCs and T2 Alphas at thronebreaker. (I am buying from glory store). I think at valiant it will become difficult to get T3 CCs as well.

Ik, At valiant I can get 7 Star every 20 days or so. Are there any benefits that are worth leaving thronebreaker benefits?

Should I stay at Thronebreaker or move on to valiant?
Please give your points.

I’ve been having the same debate. I’m going through 7.3 now, but I will likely stop before completing 7.4 for the same reasons you listed. I’d much rather get 2 or 3 6-star champs every week with easy access to sig stones than to focus just on 7-star champs. I’d also like to rank up some of the higher profile champs that I haven’t used yet. And, to your point, I don’t play BG either. Landing the occasional 7-star is nice, but not enough to focus on collecting them…yet.

Generally speaking I think it's always beneficial to push towards the highest progression-tier. However, I agree with some of your thinking. One thing I've noticed among people who sort of come from below and push straight to the top is that their rosters tend to get quite...what's the word? Shallow, perhaps? They focus on ranking up a few champions very far rather than building a strong general roster that can deal with a lot of scenarios. Then, when the few champions that they have ranked up very far can't deal with something, they get very frustrated because they don't have any other counters ranked up.

As such, I do think it can be beneficial to stay in 6* land for a while and not just push immediately into 7*s.

All of that being said: there's the Paragon tier between Thronebreaker and Valiant. I don't know the exact changes between TB, Paragon and Valiant, but if Paragon is more Thronebreaker Plus rather than Budget Valiant in terms of what resources you're looking for, it might be worth pushing toward Paragon at least. But like I said, I don't know the specifics about how the Daily Super Event looks for all three different progression tiers etc.

At valiant you get wery low prices in BG store, you get new items in shops, rewards are waaay better, and you get free t6 cats in daily.
Monthly crystal is always a 6*.
Ever since valiant, thing get so much easier and more rewarding. Go for it.

What's the cost of T4cc in BG store as a valiant?

Thank you for your POV. Paragon's Super daily event is worse than Thronebreaker TBH. You only get 1 7* Sig stone. No 6* shards and no 6* sig stones and way too low 7* shards. It is better to stay at thronebreaker or push for valiant.

60, limit ten per week. also, 10 units in the straight rank up store, EASY with a little arena here and there.

I don’t blame anyone for slow playing progression. some ain’t competitive, more driven for the exploration of the game. but it gets SUPER easy to start rounding out 6* and below. 5* 6*sig stones are cheap in the BG store, even if you stop at or before GC each season. you’re a completionist (like me), or just like having a lot of tools at your disposal (I ranked partially for arena, which was awesome for Crucible when it dropped, and also new Valiant Gauntlet0, you’d do well to push (at your own pace), as you will feel the increase quickly.
