Isnt CGR supposed to heal block Gorr in War

Hey yall, I just timed out in war fighting a Gorr with CGR on the healing node, i thought CGR was supposed to heal block with his damnation but he didn't so I couldn't get any charges for the fight. Gorr's kit says he's immune to heal block but I assumed that only applied to the debuff because why would you be able to put a defender on a node that requires you to heal block to do any sort of meaningful damage. Am I missing something here?

CGR's damnation has several different effects but if champs are immune to one or another effect then it doesn't do that. So Gorr can't get heal blocked, Serpent can't get fate sealed, but they do get the other effects. Since Gorr is heal block immune, on that node you would have to bring someone who can reverse healing. Nefaria with the despair mastery, Void, leader, Deathless She-hulk and I am sure their are others. I would send Nefaria myself as he has so many resistences and can evade to get openings without blocking.
