Question about AI state

Hey,

I am having a really tough time in Battlegrounds, and I am not even considering top accounts with so many R4 and champions diversity.

The AI is killing me and makes me lose my freaking mind. It starts to parry during my heavy. I even get parry during my SP.

I definitely have skill issues compared to a lot of players, but there are matches where we both place the same defenders and attack with same champions. I get totally rekt and the opponent finishes with almost 100%

I am just looking for some information, clarification as to why it acts so differently. If you have valid arguments and ideas, open to discussion, I am more than happy to hear your input.

P.S. : If you're going to be a total d*ck and have no arguments, please refrain yourself.

It's a total gamble like a coin toss

U might get lucky with good ai
U might get screwed with **** ai

I get Parried by Zola so many times - using Thanos , titania ,juggs ,chavez ,silk - at this point there is no explanation 🤷

I know that Kabam is aware of the AI issues, but are they addressing it ?
I mean, what can us, as players, do and be pro-active to help them fix these "dumb" behaviours faster ? Starting to record every match I have just to point out the issues is a bit time consuming.

From a content creator perspective, it's easier, but does Kabam look at ?

They're working on a fix. Since ethe issue is complex it takes a lot of time.

Another unfair thing about AI issue not everyone have it the same. some have it worse, some have it better, which makes bgs a little unfair.

Like asher said it's a gamble atm. The only thing we can do is wait.

That's my main issue, honestly.

As mentioned, I place the same defender my opponent does. He melts it and I get absolutely destroyed.

Man, Kabam really makes money off this completely broken AI. If you think about how many years this trash company kept saying they’d fix it — still nothing.
The AI straight up cheats, gets away with things no player could. Now intercepting feels like some special mission, and attacking without getting parried is almost a miracle.
They probably tweak the AI to be easier for people who spend money on this garbage, so the whales think they’re actually good. But if you’re not paying? This scummy company gives you no shot.

Player parrying and intercepting is totally random there's no control over it. The AI frame rate is too fast and it parrys the player. Don't worry it's not a skill issue you aren't the only one experiencing it

The ai somehow parry stunned my heavy attack in bgs. Fun times.
This invade meta is the most frustrating time I can remember in bgs.
Things outside our control (draft and ai) have more influence over the outcome than ever before.

I honestly think champion kits and nodes have something to do with, for instance doctor doom will always go for a heavy attack after a medium and america Chavez will constantly throw heavys in the air, it's like the AI knows their kits and play into it.
You can't parry onslaught so you have to intercept him but he 80% will not play into it.
Kindred has a thing for Parrying after throwing his special attack etc, they are Soo Many more like that.

Yeah we know that. Some champs have biases. They don't know the kit, but they have been coded to use it.

Onslaught is wonky cause of his size

AI is screwed up bcos it doesn't give you an opening to attack

Invade meta actually helps bcos AI really likes to block most of the time

First of all, I want to thank you all for your input and examples provided, along with your thoughts on why does this happen.

As initially mentioned, there is room for me to improve my skill.

I understand that BG is a "special" mode in this game and AI has to be a bit better, but man, sometimes is excellent

. Just had a match with Domino where she absolutely melted me: From the start of the fight she did not want to back up at all, just kept on pushing me in the corner. Took the AI 20 seconds to wipe the floor with me.

I do hope that the developers teams are working on it and we will hear some good news in the upcoming months.

Are you talking about the A.I. swiping towards you and, the moment you swipe to intercept, it dashes back and immediately forward to intercept you in the most elegant way?
