Server and Victory Shields issues in BGs

I was in Vibranium 2 in Battlegrounds and had 5 trophies with a victory shield activated. I joined a match and split the first two rounds. I entered the third round and had put a 6-star rank 4 ascended Dark Phoenix on defense. In the match, I beat Mr. Sinister with Purgatory at 67% health. Immediately after the match finished and before any other screen could show up it took me to the loading screen, and a message popped up saying something like "We ran into a server issue," and it kicked me out of the game. When I re-entered after a little while, it showed that I had lost the match without counting my third-round score. This whole season, only one person has defeated my Dark Phoenix, and it was a rank 3 sig 200 Kushala that finished with 17% health, so I was very likely to have won that round and gotten into the Gladiators Circuit. "Ok, whatever," I thought. I'll just play another match and get into GC. I hadn't lost any trophies due to my Victory Shield being activated. I checked before entering, and it showed my victory shield still being activated. I thought since Kabam had kicked me out of the game, they hadn't charged me for the victory shield, and it carried over to the next round. And just to emphasize, this is based on what the game told me. It showed that the victory shield was activated in the battlegrounds screen. I ended up losing this match in three rounds, and after that, I lost a trophy, even though prior to the round, the game showed that my victory shield was activated. This is really frustrating and now I have to win two matches instead of one to get into GC.
