Lose M.A.S.S. if You Exit?

Do you lose your M.A.S.S. entry resource if you exit for the Multiversal Pathway side quest? I thought they stopped doing things like this. I haven’t seen this in a while. That’s really some **** if so as that’s a chain reaction of resource rewards you lose out on receiving.

Can someone please advise?

    It's an entry resource so yes you lose it
