10 Year Challenge Necro Run

Hi everyone, I’m considering doing my first Necropolis run. I would also like to get the Carina Challenge done at the same time to kill two birds with one stone. I’ve been doing some looking and it seems that Wong is pretty crucial for this challenge. I do have plenty of other options as 7*s though.
I’m curious to hear if others have done it without Wong, and what their experience was, and who carried them. I have two R2 gems to rank up anyone needed for this challenge, assuming just a R2 would do fine.

It is cheapest with Wong, but I did it with 7r3 Sentry as my main and felt fine with the cost. Sentry, Vox and Wiccan are three champs you want to bring. I think maybe Chee and Spiderham were the other two I brought. Used Vox for one or two fights, Wiccan was the man for the reverse controls, and pretty much Sentry did the rest. Once he's ramped, he can hit pretty hard, especially if you can setup for some heavy spam.

wong is pretty important but you could also do it w Sentry as a replacement. NAGASE has a couple vids of sentry soloing 11 necro fights & i think he took the sauron evade lane. if i were u i'd probably do Sentry, Adam, Photon, Wiccan & Spider-Ham. just make sure to boost up beforehand tbh

Wong is very useful
He can solo a lot of the fights on titania path

I did the challenge with Wiccan, Adam Warlock, Vox, Chee'ilth and then Wong. I did try Wong out in a couple of fights and he netted me a solo vs. Nova, but overall my lack of familiarity with him showed and he didn't put in as much work for me as I know he have done for others. The others did far more, especially Adam Warlock and Chee.

Now, you don't have Chee. That's a slight issue because, like I said, she was my co-MVP in there. However, you do have Sentry and based on what I've heard, the Necropolis is exactly the type of content where he ought to shine. I don't really have any experience with him since I didn't get him from the Banquet box thingie, but it's possible that he could pick up the slack left behind by both Wong and Chee. I just can't say for sure.

@TotemCorruption also did with 7* sentry.

Adam is very important for GM phase 3.
Wiccan for phase 4..

I second swistle about watching nagase’s sentry videos.
I would take sentry, vox, knull (for hit monkey), Wiccan (for grandmaster reverse controls), and either photon or spiderham for Wiccan.

All my 7* are at the top, so you are seeing all of the tagged 10year challenge champs. I am considering putting my time into 9.2 exploration instead and saving my units for July 4th deals. One day I might get Wong to do the challenge easier. If it seems like too much effort with my current roster.

If someone wants to get it done... they do it regardless of options.

You have much easy contnet to explore.
9.2 is vanilla content easy and no revive spammy.
And see what you pull.

I’d say it’s still worth doing for the mastery point. Given that you can’t just get that anywhere else.

I wasn't lucky on my alt account... The challamge came in December. While waiting for wong, I did all other content. I got wong in March (idremember actuay but it was a while) I did the run next day.

No but it does make the apoc path in second half easier.
