Just became Valiant today.

Ironheart (rupture pre fight ability) will be very good against Bishop Act 8 boss.
Elsa very good against Anti Venom act 8 boss.
You need a bleed inflicting champ, since you have gwenpool, rank her up for easy path against Thing boss. For thing boss any champ is good like Gwenpool or shang chi.
Shang Chi very good against Joe Fixit Act boss (use MLM combo against him).

For now, you at least rank these champs listed above because except Gwenpool, I used the above champs aka Ironheart, Elsa, Shang Chi

Quickest way is going to be to keep pushing through content. The further you progress in story content, the more you'll get along the way and the more you will have access to. Otherwise super daily and money.

That massacre can actually put in a good amount of work believe it or not bc of all the evade nodes in act 9 (I think) - his playstyle requires hitting block
